Since 1997, TELETOON has awarded many students in scholarship across Canada. Developed with key members of the industry to highlight and encourage new talent, the TELETOON Animation Scholarship serves a vital role in the Canadian animation community with many past winners have gone on to forge successful animation careers and have worked with award-winning studios such as 9 Story Entertainment, Aardman Animations, Nelvana, Pixar Animation Studios, and Studio B Productions.
The TELETOON Animation Scholarship encourages aspiring Canadian animators to submit a short animated work to win cash awards. The TELETOON Animation Scholarship is the only one of its kind for Canadian students studying animation and has been developed with key members of the industry to highlight and encourage new talent. Past winners have gone on to forge success careers in a variety of fields including television, film and video game animation.
